When a change will happen?

Changing e-mail system is a process involving a number of activities over a period of time. The total transfer to the new service will take place on the 15th of May 2012, but since the end of April 2012. We will begin to make changes and necessary preparations at the university. If you are a faculty member using a desktop computer at the university, and you had been contacted by employee of the IT department regarding changes to the mail settings, you need not perform the steps in this guide. They have already been made ​​by an employee of the IT department.

Access via web browser

From the 15 of May 2012 website:, will change, allowing access to e-mails via a web browser. The current page will be replaced by Microsoft Outlook Web Application service, which includes many features that enable comfortable use of the mailbox.

Configuring e-mail clients

Access to your mailbox will be provided through any software that supports IMAP protocol (such as Microsoft Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, Mac Mail for Mac OS X).However it will be impossible to edit and view calendar items and tasks in these programs. To use these features, use Microsoft Outlook or log in to your e-mail account via a web browser at

Access via mobilephones and other portable devices

Most mobile phones and other portable devices allow easy access to all your new e-mail features. On many devices it will be possible not only to receive and send messages, but also review and edit your contacts and calendar items and tasks.
