What have we done so far? - project AIVALUE4HEALTH
In 2023 we establihsed AIValue4Health project that aim to foster discussion about the need of the framework for evaluating the relevance of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Polish healthcare system.
We organized two public dialogue events on the impact of AI-based health technologies in enhancing public health, incorporating perspectives from Polish and international experts, scientific publications, and parliamentary reports.
The team delivered two key research projects: study on public preferences regarding the optimal integration of AI solutions in healthcare, and systematic literature review on available frameworks for assessing digital solutions in healthcare. Both publications have been already submitted and awaiting the final approval.

Digitization of the Healthcare System is Inevitable:
- Staff Shortages
According to OECD data, by 2030, there will be a shortage of over 10 million healthcare workers.
- Soaring Costs
The treatment of chronic diseases accounts for as much as 70% to 90% of healthcare expenditures.
- Inefficiency
As much as 20% of healthcare spending is due to wastefulness.
The Center for Digital Health (CHD) is a virtual meeting place for digital technology providers and their recipients, ensuring that patients' needs are addressed through access to safe and effective digital solutions, providing not only health improvement but also savings for the system.
We invite you to collaborate!
Thanks to the analytical and research staff of Kozminski University, the Center conducts research on the assessment of the demand for and application of selected digital technologies in clinical practice and the validation of these solutions. In particular, DHC provides:
- Support for digital technology developers from Poland and other EU countries in market potential analysis and the assessment of the effectiveness, safety, and usefulness of a given innovation in the healthcare system.
- Support for the healthcare providers from Poland and other EU countries in seeking savings through digitization and assessing the cost-effectiveness of implementing innovations in the clinical process.
- Popularization of knowledge about the role of digitization in healthcare.
