About the Conference
We invite you to participate in the 1st International Conference on WE! are the Clinical Research organized by the Kozminski University. In order to meet modern solutions, while maintaining all the prevailing restrictions - we will conduct it in a hybrid system! Within the walls of the Academy, we will host the maximum number of participants, and the rest will be invited to participate online, supported by the use of software for organizing events in such a formula. Thanks to this, anyone interested in the topics we raise will be able to listen to them in the form they prefer and are possible - from anywhere on Earth. We focus on innovation, modern technologies, and modern methods of work and management. These are the topics that we will focus on during the first conference organized by us. 2020 has shown in a special way that we still have a lot of room for action and development. We have to boldly reach for tools and methods that we have not been sure of so far, and the guests invited by us will prove that we do not need to be afraid of them. Speakers representing international companies and organizations will present solutions already implemented and share their practical experiences. It will be a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as present and discuss solutions with an international audience.

Due to the prevailing situation and changing restrictions related to COVID-19, the organizers decided not to organize the Gala Dinner.

"WE! are the clinical research" - each of us creates them, each of us participates in them, each of us is a part of them! It is not only our job, but also our mission to bring the drug to the market so that every patient has a chance to benefit from the best, most effective, and safest therapy.
At Kozminski University, we celebrate the development of studies related to health protection. We run a number of fields of study, including: health care management, pharmaceutical law, clinical trials, and big data.
We observe growing needs and interests within clinical trials. We decided to create a Movement that will bring together the clinical trials community both in Poland and around the world. A place where each of us could feel even more connected not only with clinical trials, but with people who are their inseparable links.
We create an international platform for sharing experiences and knowledge about the latest solutions, discoveries, and working methods in clinical trials. The message is directed to people working in the field of clinical trials and everyone interested in development.
The topics we cover include areas related to the development of science and building its future. We invite outstanding specialists from around the world to cooperate with us, who during meetings share their professional achievements with us, provide the latest knowledge in the field, and inspire personal development.
The goal of our movement is both the substantive and personal development of each of us, and a reminder of what our daily work is for.
The Organizers and Founders
Łukasz Więch is an experienced public health practitioner with more than 15 years of experience in clinical research and extensive expertise in health care management. His professional interests include change management, management education, organizational development and ethics in clinical research.
He currently serves as Medical Director at Accelerated Enrollment Solutions, where he is responsible for the development of the organization's clinical team in Poland and the quality of ongoing research at Synexus sites. He is also a leader of health studies at Kozminski University, where he has educated more than 2,000 graduates over the years, developing their competencies in health care management and clinical research.
As a certified trainer of the advanced simulation game SysTeamsChange®, he supports managers and organizations in developing practical change management skills, particularly in the healthcare sector. He also conducts scientific research on the use of simulation games as educational tools in management processes, combining theory and practice and setting new directions in the field.
He is vice-chairman of the Council of the Health Policy Institute, actively working to shape health policy and innovation in health care.
He believes that the future of the health care system is based on education, innovation and collaboration. Working at the intersection of science, business and clinical practice, he consistently strives to create value for patients, professionals and organizations.
Katarzyna has been associated with the clinical trials industry since 2015. She has collaborated with both CRO and pharmaceutical companies. She highly values personal development and puts 100% into everything she does, which makes her a valued member of project teams. She has experience in therapeutic areas such as neurology, oncology, immunology, cardiology, diabetology, ophthalmology, dermatology, orthopedics. She participated in IMP and medical device projects at all stages.
She is always happy to participate in all kinds of training, lectures, or meetings of the clinical research industry. This helps her to gain new experience and broaden her knowledge, which she can then use in her daily work as a project specialist.
From 2019, she took on an additional role of Coordinator and Programme Support at Kozminski University’s Management and Healthcare Studies department. Katarzyna was inspired to join the team after completing postgraduate studies in Conducting and Monitoring Clinical Research. She is an alumna of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in the fields of Molecular biology and Environmental protection.
