IE Graduate Summer School 2018 - IE Business School

Dear Students,

I am pleased to inform you that next July 2018 we will celebrate the fifth edition of the IE Graduate Summer School Program here in Madrid, and as a partner university, we would like to offer your students access to 2 special direct scholarships that cover 40% of the tuition fees.

The IE Graduate Summer School is an intense three-week program taught in English that grants undergraduate students and recent graduates the opportunity to follow courses across a wide range of disciplines taught by top quality faculty of our master programs.


During the first week, students will attend workshops to help boost important soft skills such as leadership, public speaking, personal branding or team building. The goal is for them to learn how to work in and manage multicultural teams, become more creative problem solvers and decision makers, and communicate more effectively on a corporate and personal level. The second and third week are designed to give students a well-rounded view of the different areas that make up modern organizations. 2018 Konkuk University International Summer Program

Dear Students,

Konkuk University would like to announce 2018 International Summer Program (ISP), which is a two-to-four-week-long program that offers a great opportunity for students wishing to learn about Korea and experience its culture. By limiting the number of participants, we are able to provide tailored support to our students, including airport pick-up, dormitory check-in, and optional daily extracurricular activities in addition to the small classes. Thank you for your interest in our Global Summer School (GSS). We hope you found the information we sent last year useful. Here we have provided some more detailed information for you to share with your students.

What is in it for your students?

Our third annual Global Summer School is looking to be the biggest yet, with more courses and a more exciting social programme in place.

The two to four week credit bearing courses include creative art, design, and architecture courses, practical social sciences and journalism courses, and courses concentrating on business and law. After the programme your students will receive a transcript and a certificate of participation.

Students are encouraged to combine two two-week courses so they can make the most of their programme and stay with us for four weeks, enabling them to experience the best of NTU, Nottingham and the UK.

We're appointing our own Student Buddies, who will be in touch with your students even before they arrive. They will offer friendship and support throughout the programme and some of them will even study on the same courses. The Buddies are invaluable in making sure the summer school students settle in and get to know the University and the city.

We've built in social activities and a trip to at least one other UK city, so students have plenty of opportunities to meet other students from around the world, explore the surroundings and make the most of their time with us.

Prices start from £975 for a two-week course tuition and the deadline to apply is now on 18 June 2018 to allow students more time to decide. We also offer 10% tuition fee discount to your students until the application deadline.

Since this is a summer exchange programme, we will be interested in having students enrolled as exchange students.  That means we will waive the tuition charges for the enrolled students, but will use the exchange numbers to offset the number of students that we will send out from HKBU as exchange students during the regular semester of studies.  The formula we will use is that if two students that you will send in the summer to study on our campus for two courses for a total of six credit hours each, that will be counted as equivalent to providing space for an HKBU student to be sent back for a whole semester of study at your institution later.  This summer exchange programme model will be a relatively low-cost alternative for students who are otherwise not available to join the regular exchange programme for various reasons.

Another nice feature about this programme is that we will have business visits and cultural activities built into the programme.  Not only will students take regular credit-bearing courses on our campus, they can learn about the culture and business aspects of what Hong Kong can offer.  And, the highlight of these activities is the chance to visit Macao scheduled midway through the one-month long programme.

An integrated classroom will maximize the opportunities for students to learn cross-culturally.  Local students, Mainland students and international students will enroll and be integrated in these summer classrooms.  Students in the programme will have the opportunity to learn different perspectives on the subject matter from one another inside these classrooms.  Mixed groups of students will also be staying in on-campus residence halls to facilitate more interaction.

I invite you to check out this summer exchange programme.  Application is due on 9 April 2018 (Monday).  As this will be part of our exchange programme arrangement, no tuition fees will be charged and so the costs for students to join this programme are substantially reduced.  Since the numbers will be charged towards the exchange balance, we will only accept interested students’ applications through your office with proper endorsement on their applications from your office.

IESEG Summer programs in Paris - Applications open

I am pleased to inform you that applications are now open for both of the IESEG Summer programs. After a very successful edition in July 2017 with 120 participants from 26 countries, we are now looking forward for an even more exciting Summer 2018!

You will find below an information on the two summer opportunities which we will be offering in July 2018:

1)      IESEG International Summer Academy (July 1-27) focuses on Global Business and Management and awards up to 12 ECTS. Students from all over the world with very diverse academic backgrounds enjoy every year IESEG’s academic excellence and French “art de vivre”. I am happy to confirm that your students will automatically benefit a 10% partner discount on the total program fee. Therefore the total program fee would be only 2871 euros (instead of 3190 euros) for the full program of 5 courses (72 contact hours, 8 ECTS) , an intensive French language course (30 contact hours, 4 ECTS), accommodation in single room, extracurricular activities etc. And 2385 euros (instead of 2650 euros) for students who do not want to sign up for the French language course.


2)      International Fashion Business Summer Program (July 1-15) provides students with basic knowledge in all of the key areas associated with the fashion business including brand development and positioning, digital marketing, retail, advertising, and consumer behavior. The fee for this program is 2160 euros (instead of 2400) including courses, company visits and activities, as well as accommodation in single room and a public transportation pass.

Please note that in case you send 10 or more students we remove the administrative fee for each student and we offer the accommodation during one week for a coordinator from your university.
