Dates and facts
Since 1998 Kozminski University has held rights to grant Ph.D. degrees in management. In 1999 we initiated our Ph.D. program. For the last 5 years, as the only private university in Poland, we have been also entitled to grant habilitation degrees in management, allowing us also to offer full-fledged Ph.D. studies. We also hold Ph.D. granting rights in economics.

A Ph.D. degree is useful in any field. It is highly esteemed e.g. in financial-assurance sector, in public administration, in politics, or in consulting. A doctoral degree proves highest intellectual abilities of its holder. It is a kind of intellectual nobility and is a sign of belonging to certain elite. An application should consist of the following documents:
1. Application form

3. Research Proposal outline (2000 words, plus your timetable and references
or a short bibliography – to show your general interests)
4. English proficiency test (can be administered at Kozminski University, all major external exams are also recognized)
5. GMAT test scores (alternatively an equivalent test administered at Kozminski University)
6. Certificates and diplomas of your previous degrees
7. CV
8. Candidates are accepted on the basis of an interview - Interviews will be administrated on the following dates
9. 4 Passport-type photographs
10. Original high school diploma or sworn copy
11. Photocopy of evidence of payment of admission fee

Duration:
3 years (6 semesters) + preparation for final defence
Tuition:
26 100 PLN (4350 PLN per semester); 450 PLN admission fee (an installment plan is available).
Tuition for ever semester can be paid in the form of a single payment or installments (x2 in every semester).
The tuition includes participation in lectures, workshops, language classes, consultations with lecturers, first examination in every subject and one make-up examination, commission examination and the final defense (if passed within three months of completing the course).
Deadline for application:
Recruitment period is extended until September 15 - Interviews will take place between 20 September 2010 and 30 September 2010.

Requirements:
University graduates holding a Master’s diploma may apply for the PhD programme. Admission is based on the outcome of a personal interview. A certificate of English language proficiency for foreigners (unless the previous degree was taught in English).
