• 3-year Bachelor Program in Management

The 3-year BBA Program in Management is designed for students wishing to pursue managerial careers in domestic and international business. Conducted in English, the program consists of six semesters. It provides students with business operations theory and practical skills – thereby enabling graduates to run their own companies and perform effectively as managers. Students can expand their understanding of business by taking additional electives in finance, HR, Sustainability, Strategic Management and/or other business-related fields. Professional internship is a compulsory element of the Bachelor program.

 

The main idea behind the program is to provide students with the knowledge and skill for development in the workplace and lifelong learning (among others continuation of education at Master level is meant here).

Learning objectives

 

Student of the BBA Program in Management follow an intensive-designed curriculum. Curricula have been designed to integrate applied and theoretical knowledge. The first semesters cover introductory and general topics, while the later subjects draw on these or develop more complex and strategic ideas, often relying on practical analyses. Academic knowledge aside, the program focuses on students’ critical thinking, problem solving, entrepreneurial knowledge, leadership and communication capabilities. To enhance students’ communication abilities, students also take courses in foreign language such as German, French, Spanish or Chinese.

 

Who is this Program for?

 

The program is addressed to candidates who are interested in acquiring theoretical knowledge in the areas of management and business-related disciplines, combined with practical competences. The ideal candidates shall be focused on their personal/professional development, for example continuation of education at Master level.

 

The primary target groups of the BBA Program in Management are:

  1. Polish high school graduates who are looking for high end quality business education in Poland delivered in English at Bachelor level,
  2. International students from all over the world,
  3. Foreigners living in Poland seeking high end quality business education in English at Bachelor level.

 

Alumni profile

 

Alumni of the BBA Program in Management are usually in their early twenties, they speak English at a nearnative (C2) level and are able to communicate fluently in at least one other foreign language. They often spent extended periods abroad (also on academic ex-changes and internships). Alumni often consider an international career and sometimes want to pursue their further education in a different country.

 

BBA Program in Management model alumni satisfy the following criteria, corresponding with our learning goals:

  1. They demonstrate knowledge in business- related disciplines
    • They demonstrate knowledge of basic concepts and theories in the areas of economics, management, marketing and other complementary disciplines
    • They demonstrate understanding of major local, national, European and global issues in business and society

     

  2. They demonstrate critical thinking skills
    • They solve business problems applying appropriate techniques and methodologies
    • They are able to design and implement effective desk/ field research study
    • They are able to critically evaluate most fundamental managerial concepts and models
    • They demonstrate appropriate IT literacy level (usage of software i.e. MS Office)

     

  3. They are able to apply knowledge in practice in various organizational contexts and situations
    • They are able to develop rigorous SWOT analysis for any business
    • They are able to develop business plan for any business
    • They are able to conduct comprehensive market analysis
    • They are able to develop justified recommendations to address problems of any business
    • They are able to recognize and articulate contributions made by different functional areas to any organization’s well being
    • They demonstrate ability to manage business on operational level
    • They are prepared to work in international business environment on operational level
    • They are prepared to start their own business

     

  4. They are effective communicators
    • They demonstrate proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing
    • They have good command of professional business terminology in English
    • They create high quality written documents on business related topics
    • They create coherent and complete business plan
    • They are able to deliver effective oral presentation

The program is open to candidates who obtained High School Diploma from Polish or European Schools or its equivalent outside the EU.
