The ‘Filmograf’ Film Discussion Club
This Club gives Kozminski University students the opportunity to watch classic, ambitious or low budget movies and learn about film as an art form. After a film is shown students hold discussions and debates. Sometimes special guests participate. For example, recently the Polish director Konrad Niewolski spoke after a viewing. The club also organizes festivals and conferences where students have the chance to practice movie making. A discussion on the “Comparison of Movies from Both Side of the Atlantic Ocean” was particularly interesting since it identified the main film preferences of Kozminski University students and helped the Club plan future activities. Filmograf can be contacted by visiting its website at www.dkfkozminski.prv.pl, where news, information and event listings are available.
