Academic Society ‘Forum Asia-Pacific’
The area of interest of the Academic Society 'Forum Asia-Pacific' covers: functioning of transnational corporations, economic and business challenges in Pacific region, foreign investments and diplomacy. The Society supports students in contacts with international organizations and institutions.
The Society cooperates with several public institutions, corporate world and non-profit organizations in organizing of seminars and conferences in the field. Members of the Society also participate in Polish and international events, both business and academic, focusing on issues of economics and politics in Asian region.
Academic Society for Insurance
The Society has two main goals: firstly, it wants to help students to combine the theoretical knowledge with practice, secondly it assists them in acquiring licenses and certificates required in insurance business in Poland. The Society also promotes collaboration between students, Kozminski University faculty and experts from the corporate world, in particular from the insurance business.
Members of the Society are trained for future career in the field of insurance. This goal is practically pursued through professional education in form of seminars and conferences, as well as through close semiformal contacts between the club and representatives of the business world.
Student in the Society focus on the following activities:
- trainings and educational modules in finance and insurance
- preparation of students for licenses in the field of finance and insurance
- meetings with representatives of the business world
- integration meetings and camps for club's members.
Among most successful projects realized by the Society are:
- conference "Insurance in Poland as a part of European market"
- attendance in "VI Congress of Brokers"
- launching of insurance service shop in Kozminski University, where students can gain knowledge and skills on insurance sector
- development of business plan for Foundation "Help for Family"
- series of conferences on finance, accounting and insurance; for professionals, selected students of Kozminski Universit, and representatives of public administration
Human Resources Club (HR Club)
The founding concept that led to establishment of the HR Club was the promotion of knowledge on HR management among students at Kozminski University. Recently, this overall goal has been supplemented by more practical orientation: to prepare students for working on managerial positions and to train interpersonal and communication skills of its members. Therefore, HR Club is focused mainly on educational activities: discussions, seminars, conferences, workshops and simulations.
The formal supervision of club's activities holds Ewa Karpowicz, PhD together with Justyna Sztukowaska, MSc (Department of Human Resources Management).
Major projects developed in the HR Club include:
- Corporate Marathon (in cooperation with Warsaw School o Economics)
- Research on student culture at Kozminski University (in cooperation with Warsaw School of Social Psychology)
- Series of Oxford debates.

European Academic Society ‘EURES’
EURES is affiliated by the Center for European Studies at Kozminski University. Director of the Center, Prof. Andrzej Wieczorkiewicz, serves as advisor and supervisor for the students in the Society. Active participation in the activities of the EURES enables its members to develop interests and broaden the knowledge on the process of European integration. All the political, economic and social aspects of integration are paid equal attention.
The students engaged in the Society also want to promote pro-European attitudes in the academic community. They also wish to facilitate contacts with EU institutions and other international organizations. In every-day work EURES closely cooperates with other groups (foundations, associations) dealing with EU-related areas of interest. Students here have an opportunity to develop own interests taking part in numerous meetings, conferences, seminars and cultural events.

- Deputy Minister for Economy Ewa Freyberg
- several Members of Polish Parliament
Marketing Academic Society ‘The Creatives’
The long-term goals of the Society cover:
- Development and broadening of general knowledge and skills of its members in the field of marketing.
- Assistance in getting access to professional literature.
- Training of interpersonal and organizational skills of students.
- Training of academic skills, such as ability of critical and independent reasoning, by means of research projects. Supervised by faculty members.
- Maintaining and development of contacts with international partners: e.g. student associations, research groups, etc.
The Society pursues its objectives through:
- Organization of academic discussions, guest lectures, competitions, and cultural events (e.g. exhibitions).
- Participation in Polish and international conferences and seminars.
Organization of study camps.
- Designing and implementation of marketing research projects.
Most important achievements of the Club include:
- Series of seminars for Club's members: e.g. Marketing in automotive industry, Internet as a marketing tool, Product placement, Interpretation of marketing surveys, Postmodernism and marketing.
- Series of open discussions: Comparison advertising, Celebrity endorsement, Launching of new product, Eroticism in advertising, Relationship marketing, Religion in advertising, Branding and market communication.
- Participation in research projects: "E-learning" (in cooperation with University of Economics in Kraków); Mobile marketing, Discount coupons as a form of promotion.
- Participation in open competitions (e.g. L'Oreal Marketing Award).
The Little Tigers
With major events such as academic conferences organized by the TIGER Research Center, the Little Tigers take an active part in preparations. Among the most attractive seminars organized by the Little Tigers to date are:
- "Sport in Business, Business in Sport"
- "Financial institutions facing the challenges of the XXI century"
- "Management in Cultural Institutions"
- "Management - Walking through Chaos"
Among the special quests that have visited Kozminski University at the behest of the Little Tigers are:
- Robert Mundell - Winner of the Nobel Prize in economics in 1999
- Aleksander Kwaśniewski - President of the Republic of Poland
- Donald Johnston - Secretary General of OECD
- Andreas Hoffman - Vice-President of Siemens
- Krzysztof Kalicki - President of Deutsche Bank Poland
