Kozminski University is an international business school, the very first in Central and Eastern Europe to gain accreditation from EQUIS - the leading accreditation body for management education. Our full academic offer includes undergraduate, Master’s, MBA and Ph.D. programs, and a growing number of executive programs. Courses are taught in Polish, English, German and Russian. With 191 faculty members and over 8000 students from Poland, Canada, China, UK, France, Germany, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, South Africa, Vietnam, USA and other countries enrolled in 44 major programs, Kozminski University is one of the largest and most dynamic academic institutions in this part of the Continent. As success has led to expansion, our University has expanded beyond Management and Finance. Currently our Polish-language offer also includes Administration, Law, Sociology and European Studies.

In 2009 Kozminski University was listed in three prestigious rankings published by the "Financial Times" as the only Polish insitution. Kozminski University ranked 42nd among 70 of the best business schools in Europe.
On December 7, 2009 "Financial Times" published their "European Business Schools Ranking 2009" which closes the list of six annual educational rankings.The winner of this years "European Business Schools" ranking is HEC Paris. The second place went to London Business School and third to INSEAD. There is only one more educational institution from Central and Eastern Europe included in the ranking aside Kozminski University - Corvinus University in Budapest - which ranked on the 67th.
Earlier in this year Kozminski University Executive MBA program was listed among the 95 top EMBA programs in the world and the Master Program in Management ranked 36th in the "Glabal Masters in Management 2009 ranking". Schools results in these rankings also influence the position in "European Business Schools 2009". Remaining criteria include: alumni income, increase in alumni income three eyars after graduation, proportion of women among staff, proportion of foreign members among staff, proportion of staff holding a PhD degree.

in 2009 Kozminski University has been included in the Eduniversal ranking of academic institutions as a TOP Business School - Internationally Known. The ranking is composed based on opinions of representatives of top academic institutions for a given region. In Poland we have been ranked higher than the University of Warsaw School of Management.

EQUIS Having met the strict quality criteria the Kozminski University (previously called the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management - LKAEM) received the European Quality Label of EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) in 1999 as the only business school from Central and Eastern Europe, reconfirmed in 2002. EQUIS is a quality assurance system established by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) as a service to the management education profession worldwide. It is a system of quality assessment improvement and acceleration for higher education institutions in management and business administration. Its fundamental objective, linked to the mission of EFMD, is to raise the standards of management education. EQUIS facilitates standard settings, benchmarking, mutual learning and the dissemination of good practices. EQUIS schools are officially recognized by public authorities and are regarded as major quality institutions by participants, clients and competitors. They have a clearly articulated policy for the internationalization of their student body, faculty and programs. They also have a clear policy with regard to their relations to the corporate world as manifested by responding to its needs, corporate participation in their policymaking, working contacts with business, and structured opportunities for students to gain experience through internships and fieldwork.

Euro*MBA has gained Association of MBAs (AMBA) accreditation so joining the select club of less than 1% of business education providers wolrdwide to holed the three major international quality accreditations - AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

CEEMAN The University’s membership in CEEMAN (Central and Eastern European Management Association) is another instance of our pursuit of excellence. CEEMAN is an international management development association established in 1993 with the aim of accelerating and improving management development in Central and Eastern Europe. To date, CEEMAN has 169 members from 39 countries in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. CEEMAN fosters the quality of management development and change processes through the development of educational, research, consulting, information, networking support, and other related services for management development institutions and corporations operating in countries in transition.
FORUM Accreditaction
Kozminski University was among the first Polish institutions of higher education to apply for and receive the accreditation of the Association of Management Education or FORUM. FORUM was the first organization in Poland to create a professional accreditation system.
November 2004 the Polish State Accreditation Commission awarded Management and Marketing program conducted at Kozminski University the highest grade for its faculty, programs and organization, all substantially exceeding the mandatory standards. The State Accreditation Commission is an independent body whose main responsibility is the verification of compliance with higher education requirements.
For the past several years Kozminski University has been ranked first in numerous prestigious school rankings, such as those conducted by "Wprost", "Perspektywy", and "Rzeczpospolita" magazines. Kozminski University belongs to the assembly of 12 Polish universities that meet international educational standards(Tabele).
