The MSc in International Business and Management (IBM) is a programme run jointly with EQUIS-accredited Bradford University.
The MSc IBM is designed to educate well-equipped international managers, preparing them to play a leading role in dealing with international business issues throughout the world. The Masters in International Business and Management aims to reflect best practice and innovative thinking and research in international business education and practice. The MSc in International Business and Management differs from other Masters programs we deliver inasmuch as it focuses on international activities of companies. This Masters will appeal to people wishing to adopt a multidisciplinary perspective to their studies, and to those with a particular (internationalist, international) business and management approach.
The program trains students in decision-making skills and helps them to develop ideas of underlying business solutions based on a thorough academic understanding of business practices. This challenging and rigorous program comprises a mix of taught modules, practical experience, and research, providing the knowledge and skills necessary to help them to enter the global business environment either as practicing managers or researchers. The main idea behind the programme is to provide our students with the knowledge and skill for development in the workplace and lifelong learning.
MSc IBM alumni receive two master degree diplomas: Polish diploma of ‘magister’ issued by the Kozminski University and English diploma of “Master of Science” issued by the Bradford University.
Learning Objectives
The first semesters cover introductory and general topics, while the later subjects draw on these or develop more complex and strategic ideas, often relying on practical analyses.
Particularly the learning objectives are to: provide a structured, supportive environment in which students are encouraged to develop independent learning skills; develop under-standing and knowledge of the subject, and provide training in discipline skills to enable graduates to pursue further programs of study or careers in management or related practice; reflect best practice and innovative thinking and research in international business education and practice; develop personal transferable skills to enable graduates to pursue further programs of study or careers in non-cognate fields.
