Simulated proceedings of the United Nations (Copernicus Model United Nations) will be organized at our University! The organizers are students from one of the best Polish high schools.
From November 29 to December 1, 2017, the students of the Nicolaus Copernicus High School in Warsaw are organizing the Copernicus Model United Nations (simulated proceedings of the United Nations) at KU.
The event gives a unique opportunity to become the delegate of a given country in one of the UN committees, allowing participants to analyze the current geopolitical situation from a completely new perspective. It is a great opportunity to meet new people, develop skills in formulating and presenting arguments, perfecting your English and getting to know the most important problems of the modern world.
As the organizers of the event inform: "The mission of the conference is largely embodied in its slogan, which is "cooperation, communication, cognition.". Our target group includes all students of high schools both in Poland and abroad. We deeply believe that many young people do not develop their talent and passion for diplomacy, social problems and their resolution, international law and many other areas because of the inability to get involved.
Copernicus MUN's mission is not only to open ways for inner development, but also to inspire the organization of similar events. We are pleased to invite all of you to participate in the Copernicus MUN! ".
