Kozminski University is an internationally renowned private business school located in the very heart of Europe. We have achieved much since our creation in 1993. We offer recognized B.B.A., M.A., M.B.A., and Ph.D. programs in business management and finance. Highest international standards of academic excellence

In 1999, Kozminski University (previously called the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management - LKAEM)  became the 16th business school in Europe to be accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) in Brussels, joining the ranks of prestigious academic business schools in Europe such as INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France; the London Business School, and IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

In June 2008, we obtained another prestigious accreditation of the Association of MBA's (AMBA) confirming the highest standards of our executive programs.

Finally in 2011, Kozminski University became accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Thus we have joined the group of such prestigious universiteis as Harvard, Yale or MIT.

 Only 53 universities in the world hold all three of those, most prestigious international accreditations. 

Additional accreditations and recognitions include:

• Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN) accreditation;

• Poland’s Ministry of Education’s Accreditation Committee rated our management programs the best in the country;

The widest circulated Polish magazines have consistently ranked us at the top of all private higher education institutions in the country for the past 10 years; and Mindful of our prestige and international reputation, we chose to partner with the Bradford University School of Business—one of the highest ranking British university business schools (ranked fourth on Financial Times’ 2005 list of best schools)—in offering joint dual degree programs for the M.A. in International Business and the Executive M.B.A.

Openess to the world

Our international relationships focus on both academic and business aspects. We have active student exchange agreements with over 70 universities located throughout the world. Every year we receive a cohort of close to 200 international exchange students; an equal number of our students spend a semester or two at prestigious foreign universities. Our nearly 200 faculty members are active in various internationally recognized publications. In addition, we have over 40 cooperation agreements with prestigious international schools, such as Yale University in the United States, which provides a rich framework for joint international research. Kozminski University is regularly visited by world-class scholars in the fields of economics (including Nobel Prize winners Robert Mundel and Douglas North) and management (including Rosabeth Moss Kanter and Mary Jo Hatch). 

In addition, over the years we have developed close and privileged relationships with such international institutions as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, OECD, and UNIDO. Top officials from these agencies regularly visit Kozminski University to conduct workshops, lectures, and seminars for our faculty and students. As a practically oriented business school, we are particularly mindful of our corporate relations with and openness to the business world. The prestigious International Corporate Advisory Board composed of eight top managers from leading multinational companies, oversees the development of the University’s corporate relations. We have active cooperation agreements and working relationships with key multinational companies operating in the region, making attractive internships and employment offers easily available for our students and graduates.
