Accreditations and Quality

Kozminski’s  Triple  Crown

Amongst business school accreditations, the most prestigious and difficult to acquire are EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB (the so-called ‘Triple Crown’ of accreditation). Currently,  less than 70 business schools in the world hold these three accreditations. In 2011, Kozminski University joined this prestigious group.

What does this mean for you? It guarantees that the courses you take at Kozminski are of a high quality and recognized by other educational institutes – and it ensures that a Kozminski diploma is well-recognized in the business world.

AACSB

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is one of the world’s oldest business school accreditation bodies – and currently, less than 6 percent of all business schools in the world hold an AACSB accreditation. Indeed, to date, over 700 of the world’s 13,500 business education institutions are accredited by the AACSB.

EQUIS

Based in Brussels, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) evaluates the quality of a business school’s services and facilities and only awards its accreditation to the best. Currently, around 150 institutes carry the EFMD’s prestigious EQUIS accreditation. Kozminski University was the first university in Central and Eastern Europe to be awarded this distinction.

AMBA

The Association of MBAs (AMBA) confirms the highest quality of educational services amongst MBA programs. An AMBA evaluation considers factors such as facility, programs, staff qualifications, and student achievements and only 2% of the business schools in the world are distinct enough to claim the AMBA accreditation. Kozminski University earned its AMBA accreditation in June 2008.
